5 Tips for Getting Votes

The People’s Choice Award is selected from the 3 people whose entries get the most votes from the public. We also have 5 runners up, so if you want to win a prize in this category it’s time to start campaigning for some votes!

Here are our tips on how to get your photo voted for:

1. Take a great photo – that’s the best place to start. Photos that make people laugh, think, or go ‘wow’ are naturally going to get votes.

2. Share your photo with your friends, family and colleagues. Assuming you’ve always been nice to them, they’re sure to vote for you!

3. Post the link to your photo on Facebook, Tweet it, put it on your blog, create a whole website about it if you’re a total whizz-kid.

4. Consider bribing everyone you know with chocolate.

5. Beg, as a last resort.
